Where Cutting-Edge Biotechnology Harmonizes with Natural Biology
We merge the healing power of chitosan and alginate with the precision of advanced nonwoven textile engineering to create next generation wound dressings. Our materials are biocompatible, sustainable, and clinically effective, redefining how the world approaches wound recovery.
The Challenge: Persistent Wound Healing Crisis
Chronic and complex wounds remain a critical yet underserved challenge in global healthcare — especially in emerging economies like India.
1-2%
Population Burden
suffer from chronic wounds at any given time
60%
Infection Crisis
of chronic wounds colonized by harmful bacteria
6-10%
Diabetic Risk
of diabetics develop foot ulcers leading to amputations
2-4%
Healthcare Cost
of total expenditure goes to wound management
Management Failures
Conventional dressings often fail to manage heavy exudate, leading to complications like maceration and odor.
Bleeding Control Gap
Trauma and surgical wounds need rapid hemostasis, which passive conventional dressings cannot provide.
Economic Burden
Chronic wound management accounts for a significant portion of healthcare expenditure globally.
Access Issues
Advanced dressings are often scarce and prohibitively expensive in developing countries, limiting care.
Unlocking Healing: The Science of Accelerated Recovery
At the heart of our breakthrough innovation lie two extraordinary natural polymers:
Chitosan: The Ocean's Healing Power
Sustainably sourced from marine shells, Chitosan is revered for its potent antimicrobial, rapid hemostatic, and remarkable cell-regenerative properties, acting as a catalyst for tissue repair.
Alginate: Seaweed's Moisture Mastery
Derived from the ocean's seaweed, Alginate masterfully forms advanced hydrogels that precisely regulate moisture, creating the perfect physiological environment essential for optimal wound healing.
Wound Healing Dressing Manufacturing Process
Raw Materials
Chitosan from crustacean shells and alginate from seaweed.
Purification and Fiber Manufacturing
Purification for raw materials and fiber manufacturing.
Nonwoven Manufacturing
Focus specifically on the nonwoven manufacturing process.
Packaging and Sterilization
Packaging and sterilization as the final step.
Key Benefits
Antimicrobial Protection
Advanced formulation actively inhibits bacterial growth at the wound site, preventing infection.
Superior Absorption
Manages high levels of exudate efficiently, maintaining an optimal moist healing environment.
Biocompatible Design
Integrates seamlessly with the body's natural healing process, minimizing irritation and promoting tissue regeneration.
ChitoHeal
Revolutionary Bioactive Wound Care Technology
ChitoHeal is a next generation wound dressing made from Chitosan and Alginate, designed to replicate the body's own healing mechanisms.

Our Founder
Meet Nikita Soni
After working for over 10 years in R&D, product development and application engineering in various companies, she left her corporate job to follow her passion.
She founded Anlage Materials with a sole purpose to replace synthetic materials from the surroundings with natural materials while retaining or improving on the inherit properties. She feels highly motivated to work with these natural materials that can protect the environment by creating a circular ecosystem.
Having come from a humble background, she understands the only way to need to make such material more accessible to the masses is to make them more affordable.
One of her first projects is the development of ChitoHeal — a step toward making gentle, nature-inspired wound care easily available to everyone in need.
